These desktops are often used to build budget gaming PC’s using decommissioned office desktops and convert them to work with modern PC cases. This adapter will retain the power button switch, power LED, yellow diagnostic LED, and HDD LED. Warning, connecting these adapters in the wrong orientation could result in damage to your motherboard. When installing make sure to align the notched pin on the adapter with the missing pin on the motherboard connector, sometimes it may have to be installed right side up, upside down, or sideways to accomplish this.
