We will never try to save us money that will cause you headache down the road.  Most of the sellers claim to use standard shipping but they use Smartpost just to save a few pennies and that could potentially cause problems for you.  Have you tried to contact FedEx with a Smartpost tracking number?  Good luck.  You will first have to find a valid FedEx tracking number just able to get to a person to help you.  Even then, they will ask you to contact the Postal Office or refuse to give you a delivery date.  When you contact the Postal Office they will ask you to contact FedEx.  After a few hours, you just give up.  If you live in a small town, Smartpost will be a big problem.  FedEx will decide when to hand over your package to USPS for delivery and they will only do hand over your packages when they meet the quoted quantity.  This could be a week or two weeks?  You will never know when you will get your package.
We will never use such economy shipping method.  We will use UPS ground, USPS first class, or USPS priority mail.  Your package will be ship it out quickly with a quick delivery (assuming no bad weather conditions).  If there is a problem, we will help you put a trace on it.  Other sellers will ask you to contact FedEx.  Is it worth hours of your time for $10?
