Be careful of sellers selling other power supplies not Mego original. They claim it will work. It may work for a while but if it's not made for the product being used you run the risk of burning out your antique toy over time. The Power supply being sold in this listing is an original MEGO 2-XL power supply made for the 2-XL unit and will not damage it as it was designed for the Mego 2-XL 8 track toy.

Here is a hard to find part for your 2-XL unit. An original Mego power supply and cord. Sorry about the flash, the print on the power supply is not red it is a reflection from the material I placed it on. I have a 2-XL shop where I can repair, fix and tune up 2-XL's like new.
